Product Condition & Packaging
Affordable Roof Supply may sell surplus, overstock, discontinued, closeout, liquidation, repackaged, or other discounted roofing and building materials.
Certain materials may be removed from the manufacturer’s original packaging and may be sold unwrapped or in replacement packaging.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing at the time of sale, removal from original packaging does not mean that the product itself is defective or damaged.
Customers should inspect all materials before installation and confirm that the product, quantity, color, dimensions, condition, and specifications are acceptable for their intended use.
Important Manufacturer Warranty Disclosure
UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED IN WRITING AT THE TIME OF SALE, MATERIALS PURCHASED FROM AFFORDABLE ROOF SUPPLY DO NOT INCLUDE A MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY.
Original manufacturer packaging may have been removed or replaced. This may affect or eliminate eligibility for a manufacturer’s warranty, registration, certification, rebate, or other manufacturer-provided program.
Affordable Roof Supply does not represent or guarantee that any manufacturer will provide warranty coverage for products purchased from Affordable Roof Supply unless such coverage is expressly confirmed in writing.
Independent Seller
Affordable Roof Supply is an independent seller of roofing and building materials.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, the sale of a manufacturer’s product does not represent or imply that Affordable Roof Supply is an authorized dealer, distributor, agent, representative, or affiliate of that manufacturer.
Manufacturer names, trademarks, and product descriptions are used only to identify the products being offered for sale.
Product Suitability & Installation
The purchaser, property owner, contractor, roofer, and/or installer is responsible for determining whether the material is appropriate for the particular project.
Before installation, the purchaser and installer should verify compliance with applicable California and local building codes, permit requirements, installation requirements, and any other requirements applicable to the project.
Affordable Roof Supply is not responsible for improper installation or for an installer’s failure to determine whether a product is appropriate for a particular project.
Color & Appearance
Roofing materials may have variations in color, shade, texture, appearance, manufacturing date, production lot, packaging, or labeling.
Customers should inspect and compare materials before installation.
Installation constitutes acceptance of readily observable product characteristics, including color and appearance, to the extent permitted by California law.
Damage, Shortages & Inspection
Customers should inspect materials when received and before installation.
Any visible damage, shortage, incorrect product, or other readily apparent issue should be reported to Affordable Roof Supply promptly and before the material is installed.
California Consumer Rights
Nothing in this disclosure is intended to exclude, waive, or limit any warranty, right, remedy, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, waived, or limited under California law.
If any provision of this disclosure conflicts with a non-waivable requirement of California law, the applicable California law will control.
Purchaser Acknowledgment
By purchasing materials from Affordable Roof Supply, the purchaser acknowledges the applicable disclosures regarding the condition, packaging, and manufacturer warranty status of the materials being purchased.
